Drowns The Whiskey has been a model of consistency this year, in 11 starts he has 4 wins and 4 second place finishes, and has already equaled his earnings from last year in half as many starts.  This afternoon he notched his 4th win on the year, the hard earned win came over determined He’s Special.  He was driven by Jimmy Devaux and is trained by part owner Thomas Merton.

R2 Itsoneofthose OPEN

Itsoneofthose benefitted from a 2 hole trip to overtake tempo setting Bank Guard and squeezed through the rail to get up for the win over Win And Dream (Aldrich Jr.) in 1:58.4 – $9.50 for Owner – Trainer Driver Alan Schwartz.

R7 OPEN Bucketlist Hanover

The race of the day was in in the second Open Trot, Jimmy Devaux and Reel Em In cut the mile, at the top of the stretch, he was still on top and looked like he might be able to pull off the win but a cavalry charge soon ensued.  Bucketlist Hanover was 3 deep coming off the paddock turn and Chip Chip Conway was also ranging into contention, but to no avail as Bucketlist Hanover still had enough in the tank to get the win. The photo for place was a blanket finish with six horse’s right there at the wire; Chip Chip Conway (Taggart Jr.) was second followed by ER Shane (Aldrich Jr.)
